Reelect Gray For Mayor!

A Castle Rock resident since 1998, Jason Gray is the proud husband to Kathryn Gray and father to Aidan and Keagan. Parents Jim and Jackie moved to join Jason and family five years ago from Washington state where Jason was raised. Jason owns Crowfoot Valley Coffee and Crow Bar, which will be celebrating its 20th anniversary in January. Jason actively contributes to the vibrancy and strategic planning for Castle Rock – his service includes 5 years on the Chamber of Commerce board, 7 years on the Downtown Alliance board, 5 years as president of the Downtown Merchants Association, and 5 years on the Castle Rock Economic Partnership board. Jason’s hobbies include writing (as half of the duo Harris Gray, with multiple published works), fishing, hiking, kayaking, and finishing well behind Kathryn in 5 & 10K races. His passions include spending time with his family and organizing fundraising to support research into MS, ALS, Parkinson’s, and dementia.

Castle Rock

Castle Rock is a wonderful place to live! We are a family-friendly town. Social activities are abundant – Starlighting, Artfest, the Elephant Rock bike ride, Oktoberfest, the Douglas County Fair & Rodeo, the car show, and many others. Beyond the annual events, we have numerous free concerts, movie nights, events and activities, in all seasons. Castle Rock makes it easy to spend time with friends and neighbors, and form new connections, both business and pleasure.

Our outdoor opportunities are a huge asset for Castle Rock! We boast over 80 miles in trails and 6,000 acres of open space. Walking, biking, golfing, and playing in the parks – including the one-of-a-kind Philip S. Miller Park – we have something for everyone.

It’s no wonder everyone wants to live here! Within the Denver metro area, around the state of Colorado, and nationally, Castle Rock has a rising reputation as a perfect place to live, work, and raise a family. We can’t keep it a secret – nor should we! Our new citizens bring vibrancy and a wealth of talent, experience, and energy. All the things that will ensure Castle Rock continues to be such a wonderful place to live.

But of course that means growth. For some, an exciting word; for others, a word of warning. Both sentiments are true! Growth brings opportunities and challenges. We have to manage our growth – proactively and positively, making one of the best places to live even better.

“Castle Rock is a wonderful place to live!”
